The Black Cat Retreat is a gorgeous oasis and a perfect getaway within the Dark Sky Reserve. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Stunning indoors and out. We easily visited Ngaut Ngaut Conservation Park for a tour, and saw the stars from Big Bend which were both close by. Janet and Pat were super welcoming and really helpful when we locked ourselves out! I highly recommend this place for a comfortable out of town stay.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay. The self-contained cabin was well equipped with all essentials. Great value for money. The communication from the host was friendly, proactive and direct.

Amazing I love this house because it's so cosy and giving me extra happiness to see the black cats everywhere because I have two cats and miss them so much, almost like being at home. The owner is fantastic. She helped me and will answer my questions if I have any. There is a lot of peace and quiet in this town. The food at the Hotel at Nildottie SA was absolutely delicious.

Love the private quiet little cabin. Has all that you need. Love the new verandah. We sat out side and watched the rain and lightening. Communication with property owner is excellent.
